Background
Clare completed our 9 Day Advanced Intensive Tiling Course back in January 2021. She had some basic tiling skills having already started her own tiling business a few months earlier. She needed confirmation that what she was doing was correct, and that she could have confidence in her practical skills.

Clare took what we showed her and worked hard to build an incredible well-thought-of tiling business. Almost all of her work now comes from recommendation or repeat customers and their families. She took our advice and built good working relationships with other local trades and has completed countless bathrooms and wetrooms with the same local plumber over the last few years. She has gained a large amount of experience and developed her skills, learning on every job.

I learnt so much about organising the paperwork side of the business and the vital skills of pricing jobs and making a profit. Henry taught me to value myself and not to panic if I don't win a job, and not to be too desperate to win a job as it’s more important to take my time and produce good quality work and the rest will sort it self out.
For at least the first year after I completed the course Henry was there answering emails on any queries I had. Within UK homes there are so many scenarios and situations you come across and this can’t all be taught in 9 days but Henry was fantastic at providing answers to any queries I had which allowed me to quote for jobs with confidence and the knowledge. This was on many occasions how I won jobs and customers liked that I researched what was needed and have therefore confidence I would do a good job completing their job. This has all come from the helpful and detailed atmosphere Expert Tiling Courses provided for me at the start of my tiling career.
I am still learning each job and building in my skills in this ever changing construction environment but know that if I need anything Henry would be there to help!
About the course
This is our two week course. It includes all of the practical training from our 4 Day Professional Tiling Course, along with the business, marketing and background preparation knowledge from our 1 Day Course. The second week of this course covers increasingly advanced tiling skills and problem solving, including learning about tanking, setting out and installing tiles in wetrooms.
